Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to manage and scale data platforms for analytics and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Enhance and maintain the data lakehouse for decision-making processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support data infrastructure needs and resolve technical issues

Required Qualifications

• High proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language (Scala and Python preferred)
• Fluency in SQL with experience in writing ETL jobs and working with data at scale
• Experience with real-time/streaming data pipelines
• Familiarity with tools such as Spark, AWS, and Databricks
• Demonstrated ability to design maintainable software and enhance existing systems
