Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure, including data warehouse structures and pipelines in BigQuery
• Develop and maintain dbt models, tests, and documentation to standardize and transform data
• Monitor and improve existing pipelines focusing on automation, maintainability, and data quality

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related technical role
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud-based warehouses, preferably BigQuery
• Proficient in Python with a focus on writing production-quality code
• Hands-on experience with dbt for building, testing, and deploying models
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message bus systems
