Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to support a classified project for the IRS.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ECS/EAD data engineering efforts focusing on automation and repeatable data processing workflows
• Build automated data validation routines, ETL test harnesses, and monitoring scripts for pipeline reliability and data integrity
• Implement ingestion and transformation components, integrate with cloud data services, and resolve pipeline defects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience; or 4 additional years of experience without a Bachelor's degree
• Must possess an active IRS MBI Clearance and have current GFE
• US Citizenship required
• Experience with Python, SQL, ETL/ELT development, and cloud data services
• Prior experience working on Agile teams
