Data Engineer

Job Summary

Data Engineer, this is a full-time remote position responsible for building data infrastructure, pipelines, and systems while mentoring junior engineers and interacting with stakeholders to drive improvements in data engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Builds data infrastructure, pipelines, systems, and tools with minimal feedback
• Creates accurate and accessible datasets for Data Analysts and Scientists
• Mentors junior data engineers and participates in planning sessions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience (experience may substitute for education)
• Proficient with at least one family of data ingestion systems and cloud database services
• Background in constructing databases and processing big data
• Intermediate understanding of data management and transformation processes
• Experience in improving data accuracy and creating interpretable information
