Data Engineer

Job Summary

Data Engineer, responsible for developing and maintaining scalable enterprise-grade systems to support data-driven solutions in a fully remote, contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy data platforms, automate infrastructure, and ensure system performance
• Build and maintain data pipelines while monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze requirements and design technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with ETL processes and tools
• Strong SQL skills and programming experience in Java and/or Python
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments and with Big Data or distributed systems
• Familiarity with scheduling and orchestration tools
