Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a high-priority internal data implementation, the contract Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, while engaging with business stakeholders to ensure alignment across various systems, including ERP and CRM platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines in Databricks using Declarative Pipelines (Delta Live Tables) and medallion architecture principles
• Build and maintain data models that unify data across multiple systems, ensuring data quality and lineage tracking
• Lead stakeholder engagement to translate business requirements into effective data engineering solutions and reporting deliverables

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a data engineering or analytics engineering role
• Deep production-level experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake and Declarative Pipelines
• Expert-level SQL proficiency for complex transformations and query optimization
• Proven experience integrating data from ERP and CRM systems
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and experience with data migration projects
