Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Data Engineer, the successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations of the data stack, including overseeing Dagster orchestration, Fivetran ingestion, maintaining Snowflake infrastructure, and building dbt models while addressing business analytics needs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain ELT pipelines using Fivetran and Dagster, troubleshooting and setting up new source connectors
• Manage Dagster orchestration, debugging failures, and optimizing pipeline performance
• Maintain Snowflake infrastructure and ensure reliable deployment of dbt models through GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering with hands-on analytics engineering experience
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python for pipeline and transformation tasks
• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, Dagster, Fivetran, and Looker or similar BI tools
• Ability to manage Snowflake infrastructure using Terraform
• Experience writing, testing, and maintaining dbt models in production
