Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Commerce's ITA, the full-time Data Engineer will design, maintain, and optimize enterprise data pipelines, ETL workflows, and AI-ready cloud data services, working in a hybrid environment between remote and Washington, DC.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain ETL workflows and APIs
Support AI-ready data preparation and governance
Manage cloud-based data ingestion and transformation pipelines

Required qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in a data engineering role
Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, APIs, Python, and Power BI
Knowledge of enterprise data engineering and AI/ML initiatives
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to complete a Tier 1 National Agency Check
