Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a critical data conversion and migration initiative, the contracted mid-level Data Engineer will analyze, cleanse, and transform historical workforce and financial system data while developing automated processes to enhance data quality and efficiency in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and consolidate historical workforce and financial data from multiple source systems
• Design and develop automated data conversion and transformation processes to improve data quality
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical data solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Integration
• Strong experience with extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases
• Experience developing automated data transformation and migration solutions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
