Data Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting enterprise test data management initiatives, the contract Data Engineer will perform data obfuscation and enable synthetic data generation while working remotely across databases, APIs, and cloud systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support enterprise test data management initiatives and provide test data support to teams across the bank
• Perform data obfuscation/masking in non-production environments to reduce sensitive data usage
• Integrate data processes into CI/CD pipelines while working across legacy systems and modern cloud environments

Required qualifications

• Strong database skills including DDL/DML, querying, and data manipulation
• Solid programming foundation in languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control, preferably GitLab
• Hands-on experience with API integration and consumption
• Cloud experience, with a preference for Azure
