Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking motivated Data Engineers at various levels, this remote role will utilize data engineering best practices to produce high-quality data models, develop healthcare domain knowledge, and build scalable ELT pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, available data models that are intuitive for data analysts and trusted by stakeholders
• Build scalable ELT pipelines and business intelligence dashboards while embracing automation
• Implement data quality checks to proactively identify data issues and ensure accuracy of analytical products

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, analytics, statistics, finance, business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Experience with relational databases and strong understanding of database structures and practices
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Spark, and SQL
• Familiarity with normalized, dimensional, star schema, and snowflake schematic models
• 2+ years of experience in the data and analytics landscape, preferably in managed care or healthcare data
