Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing technology and data team, the contract Data Engineer will design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions within a Microsoft Fabric environment, focusing on advanced analytics, reporting, and AI-driven initiatives while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies
• Build and support data ingestion processes from various internal and external data sources
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance and reliability of enterprise data pipelines

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or Data Warehousing
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Pipelines and Data Warehouses
• Experience developing and supporting ETL/ELT processes within cloud-based data platforms
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and data integration best practices
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and related Azure technologies
