Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data integration efforts, the full-time contract Data Engineer will create and manage data ingestion pipelines, optimize performance across various platforms, and implement transformation logic and workflows while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain data ingestion pipelines for batch and near real-time integrations
• Optimize SQL performance across Snowflake, Azure, and PostgreSQL
• Establish observability and monitoring frameworks to ensure data reliability and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL with Azure, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure
