Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on an ongoing contract basis, the Senior Data Engineer will support and enhance data systems within a complex enterprise data ecosystem, collaborating with various teams to design solutions and ensure successful delivery of data-driven initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and support both new and existing data systems within the enterprise data ecosystem
• Organize technical work efforts, identify required data sources, and contribute to solution design
• Collaborate with data and business teams to align on requirements and monitor project implementation progress

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in Technology or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including data quality, ETL, and system maintenance
• 3+ years of experience with tools such as Talend, AWS Glue, and Lambda
• 3+ years of experience with cloud data warehouses such as Redshift or Snowflake
• Strong experience working in cloud and hybrid data environments
