Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer, the full-time remote consultant will optimize and manage data processes using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Python, while designing and implementing data architectures and delivering actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures, database systems, and processing systems
• Leverage GCP and BigQuery to optimize data retrieval and improve data delivery speed
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements and create optimal data pipeline architecture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a similar data management role
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Python
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and optimization
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools
