Data Engineer
Job Summary
With over 10 years of experience in Power BI and healthcare knowledge, the remote contract Data Engineer will develop reports and dashboards from various data sources, implement advanced features, and manage report publishing and refresh schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards from databases, Excel, CSV, SharePoint files, and Snowflake
- Create and implement measures and columns using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) in Power BI
- Publish reports, enable scheduled refreshes, and monitor daily refresh performance
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Power BI
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data and reporting needs
- Experience with DAX for creating measures and columns
- Proficiency in implementing advanced Power BI features such as drill-through, conditional formatting, and navigation buttons
- Familiarity with monitoring and managing report refresh schedules
