Data Engineer

Job Summary

Managing and designing ETL systems, the full-time Data Engineer will ensure data ingestion and transformation for analysis and reporting while collaborating with engineers to deploy machine learning models in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage ETL systems to ensure high availability and monitoring for data consumers
• Write Airflow DAGs for task execution and collaborate on solutions for machine learning model deployment
• Analyze and support data infrastructure, ensuring performance, integrity, and security of data

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of applicable work experience
• Strong Python skills and proficiency in at least one SQL dialect (e.g., Redshift, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in designing and improving ETL systems
• Knowledge of data modeling, access, and storage techniques
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
