Job Summary

Designing and maintaining data infrastructure, the full-time remote Data Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data solutions on AWS, ensuring data integrity and optimizing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data and file ingestion frameworks
• Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize data ingestion frameworks for performance and reliability while following data governance best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2 to 4 years of software development experience in a data-related field
• Experience with ETL development using Python and Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
• SQL knowledge and experience with RDBMS such as Aurora, MySQL, Postgres, or Redshift
• Familiarity with the AWS platform and understanding of dimensional models and ER designs
