Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Data Engineer for a full-time position based in Charleston, SC, with remote/hybrid flexibility, who will design and build data infrastructure to enhance investment operations and support AI initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement scalable data architecture solutions and maintain a centralized cloud data warehouse
• Design and optimize data models and ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data infrastructure with business goals and support reporting initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with strong production experience in Python and SQL
• Experience building scalable cloud-based data platforms, preferably with Snowflake
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and access controls
• Experience with REST API integrations and cloud platforms, preferably AWS
