Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a mid-level Data Engineer I/II to work full-time remotely, who will build and maintain ETL pipelines, ensure data quality, and onboard new clients onto the data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines, ensuring reliable data movement from source to warehouse
• Develop and manage SQL-based transformation models and handle schema changes
• Oversee data quality monitoring, including setup, threshold tuning, and proactive alerting

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining production data pipelines end-to-end
• Strong SQL skills with experience in complex aggregations and multi-step transformations
• Proficiency in provisioning and managing cloud data infrastructure using infrastructure as code
• Experience with Python for ETL scripts and data pipeline automation
• Understanding of data quality metrics and monitoring best practices
