Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Data Engineer will develop and operationalize data pipelines for reports and advanced analytics, contributing to the migration of legacy systems to a new application framework.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement standardized data management procedures for staging, ingestion, preparation, and provisioning
• Develop, test, and maintain data architectures using various programming languages and tools
• Ensure data quality and identify opportunities for improving reliability and efficiency, including task automation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Proven experience with SQL, including multi-table joins and aggregations
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with production cloud infrastructure and data processing tools
