Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the contract-to-hire Data Engineer will build scalable data pipelines, analyze raw data from multiple sources, and design ETL/ELT processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build robust data pipelines to support business insights and decision-making
• Design table structures and ETL/ELT processes for high-performance data solutions
• Provide production support, including technical assistance to end-users and IT staff

Required qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes using tools like DataStage, SQL, SAS, and Python
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and version control using GitHub
• Proficiency in Visual Studio Code for development and debugging
• Experience working with Snowflake for scalable data warehousing
• Three or more years of requirements gathering and solution architecture experience preferred
