Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support business insights and decision-making, the contract-to-hire Data Engineer will build scalable data pipelines, analyze raw data, and design ETL/ELT processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build robust and scalable data pipelines to support business insights
• Design table structures and ETL/ELT processes for high-performance data solutions
• Provide production support and assist with requirements gathering and documentation

Required qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes using tools such as DataStage, SQL, SAS, and Python
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and version control using GitHub
• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code for development and debugging
• Experience working with Snowflake for scalable data warehousing
• Three or more years of requirements gathering and solution architecture experience preferred
