Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working full-time from 9 AM to 6 PM Pacific Time, the Data Engineer will manage ETL processes, maintain data pipelines, and ensure data quality and security while supporting healthcare data management initiatives remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee ETL processes to provide accurate and timely data for revenue generation
• Maintain and support data pipelines on a proprietary big data processing platform to meet data delivery SLAs
• Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure high data integrity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience with RDBMS and proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, or ETL tools
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or data analysis with a strong track record of building data pipelines
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
• Solid understanding of Linux environments and strong knowledge of shell scripting
