Data Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a lean, high-output team, the full-time Data Engineer will own and extend a Python-based ETL job orchestration engine, build and maintain data pipelines for operational reporting, and integrate various data sources in a HIPAA-regulated remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and extend the Python-based ETL job orchestration engine, adding new job types and resolving production failures
• Build and maintain data pipelines for scheduling, finance, credentialing, and clinical operations reporting
• Integrate data sources into the data warehouse, ensuring HIPAA compliance across all data handling

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience in a production environment
• Strong SQL skills, including complex stored procedures and execution plan analysis
• Proficiency in Python for ETL workloads, including experience with libraries like pandas and SQLAlchemy
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse and ETL workloads, including building scheduled data pipelines
• Comfort working in a HIPAA-regulated environment and handling PHI with appropriate care
