Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a modernization initiative, the full-time Data Engineer will design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines using AWS services, build APIs for client data ingestion, and develop workflows for loading data into SQL Server databases, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Designs and implements scalable data ingestion pipelines using AWS services
• Builds APIs and file upload mechanisms for client data ingestion
• Develops data mapping and transformation workflows for loading into SQL Server client databases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years in Data Engineering or related roles
• Strong experience with AWS services for data engineering (S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, API Gateway)
• Proficiency in Python and/or C# .NET for data processing and integration
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational database concepts
