Data Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with the analytics team, the full-time Data Engineer will design and implement scalable ETL processes, perform data extraction and manipulation, and build utilities to enhance data flow in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL or ELT processes to support business data demands
• Perform data extraction, manipulation, and production from database tables
• Build automated unit tests and participate in integration testing efforts

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline
• Intermediate proficiency in Python and experience with data processing libraries (e.g., Numpy, Pandas)
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
• Passion for data and a deep desire to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
