Data Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting modernization initiatives, the full-time remote Data Engineer will execute data migration, improve data quality, and prepare analytics-ready data for applications hosted in Microsoft Azure Government Cloud.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct discovery and assessment of legacy data sources to document structures, dependencies, and quality issues
• Design and execute ETL/ELT processes to migrate legacy data into Azure environments while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Prepare curated datasets for analytics and reporting use cases, including Power BI dashboards

Required qualifications:

• US Citizen with Public Trust clearance
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, migration, or ETL development
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational data structures
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services, preferably in Azure Government Cloud
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and/or Synapse for ETL/ELT pipelines
