Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data analytics initiatives, the contract Data Engineer will work remotely to develop and implement a medallion architecture using dbt and Microsoft Fabric, build data ingestion pipelines, and establish data governance and quality checks.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and build medallion architecture in dbt and Microsoft Fabric to enhance data analytics capabilities
• Create and maintain data ingestion pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and integration
• Establish data governance protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience with dbt, SQL, PySpark, and Python
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices
• Experience in building data architectures, specifically medallion architectures
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platform technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
