Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare technology team, the full-time Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for clinical, financial, and operational reporting, primarily using Snowflake, dbt, and Python in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting and transforming healthcare data
• Write and maintain dbt models, ensuring transformations are testable and documented
• Implement data validation tests and monitor pipeline health to ensure data accuracy

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong SQL expertise with the ability to write complex queries and troubleshoot data issues
• 2+ years of Python experience for building production-grade scripts
• Experience with dbt, writing models, tests, and macros
• Familiarity with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse technologies
