Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Data Engineer will develop database designs and architecture, manage data migrations and transformations, and collaborate with technical teams in an Azure data warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop database designs and architecture while contributing to technical designs with Architects and Business Teams
• Secure data migrations and transformations to/from clients, customers, and vendors
• Conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for the construction of technical data flows

Required qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in large data migration and transformation efforts
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics, including Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and creating data models
• Experience with TSQL, SQL Server, and PL/SQL
• Knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts, along with database performance tuning
