Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise data warehouse solutions, the full-time remote Data Engineer will manage the migration from Google BigQuery to Databricks while establishing data governance standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support internal analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise data warehouse solutions for corporate analytics
• Oversee the migration and refactor of the data warehouse to Databricks, ensuring support for all internal analytics use cases
• Establish and maintain data warehouse standards and best practices across the organization

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse development, with a focus on enterprise data warehouse implementations
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouse platforms, preferably Databricks
• Expert-level SQL skills and strong data modeling capabilities
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for data pipeline development
• Experience with core business systems integration, including Salesforce, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
