Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Data Engineer, the full-time position will focus on building data pipelines and tooling while managing file ingestion and cloud infrastructure in a remote or onsite capacity across various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable ETL processes for data ingestion from external sources to cloud platforms
• Configure and maintain core data platforms and internal administration tools
• Monitor ETL processes and respond to data processing errors in collaboration with internal and external partners

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with cloud providers (AWS and/or GCP)
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, SQL, and Terraform
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, systems design, and microservices
• Degree or background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
• Experience with healthcare data, such as insurance claims or electronic health records, is a plus
