Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the design and optimization of enterprise data solutions, the fully remote Data Engineer will develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, enhance SQL Server data warehouse environments, and contribute to cloud modernization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for integrating data into an enterprise data warehouse
• Support and enhance existing SQL Server data warehouse environments, including SSIS packages and data transformation processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions for reporting and analytics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1-5 years of experience with enterprise data warehouse solutions using SQL Server and relational database technologies
• Strong SQL development skills, including complex query writing and database optimization
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or comparable technologies
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is preferred
