Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing data engineering team, the fully remote Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and platform infrastructure, ensuring data quality and accessibility while collaborating with senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data ingestion, transformation, and validation across the data warehouse
• Integrate with Kafka-driven event streams to support real-time data ingestion under senior engineers' guidance

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of professional data engineering or software development experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries
• Experience with at least one cloud data warehouse or data platform (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Proficiency with Git-based version control and CI/CD concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
