Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Data Science Team, the full-time remote Data Engineer will design, maintain, and enhance data integration pipelines for the Enterprise Data Warehouse while contributing to cloud modernization initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion into the Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Automate and enhance existing data pipelines to ensure reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and support data infrastructure needs
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience preferred
- 1 - 5 years of experience with large datasets in relational databases and SQL-based platforms
- Hands-on SQL development experience, including writing complex queries and performance tuning
- Experience developing and supporting data pipelines using tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or Airflow
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python, R, or Java is a plus
