Job Summary
Seeking an entry-level Data Engineer to work remotely, who will develop high-volume data processing jobs and support data scientists and analysts in leveraging data for insights.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop high volume data processing jobs across platforms like Redshift, Athena, Iceberg, Spark, and Airflow
- Debug queries, monitor jobs, identify bottlenecks, and improve system performance efficiency
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to support data-driven projects
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of professional experience in data engineering
- Knowledge of SQL, databases (MySQL / Redshift / Athena), and data modeling
- Experience with workflow orchestrators such as Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect
- Proficiency in Python programming
