Job Summary
To support the evolution of analytics and machine learning initiatives, the full-time Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data architectures and ETL pipelines in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data architectures for operational, analytical, and ML workloads
- Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing and implement data quality checks
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to enable machine learning workflows and support analytics use cases
Required qualifications
- 4-8+ years of experience in data engineering or backend engineering with a data focus
- Strong experience in building data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
- Proficiency with SQL and relational data modeling
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Azure
- Understanding of data quality, reliability, and monitoring practices
