Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of large-scale data platforms, the full-time Data Engineer will design, implement, and optimize data solutions using MSSQL, AWS cloud services, and Python while working remotely from anywhere within the U.S.
Key responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement scalable data platforms, pipelines, and ETL/ELT workflows
- Lead end-to-end data engineering efforts, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior/principal role
- 4+ years of experience in MSSQL-query optimization and performance tuning
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud for data architecture and pipeline development
- 2+ years of experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration
