Data Engineer

Job Summary

Building and maintaining data infrastructure for a cloud-based case management system, the full-time remote Data Engineer will develop data marts, optimize data workflows, and ensure compliance with federal data security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain data marts, materialized views, and data pipelines within an AWS hosted Data Lake environment
• Design and optimize data workflows and pipelines to support agency-wide analytics and reporting
• Monitor data infrastructure health, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and data quality issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale data infrastructure (AWS)
• Experience building and maintaining data marts, materialized views, or ETL/ELT pipelines
• Familiarity with AWS data services and cloud-based data infrastructure
• Experience maintaining and migrating relational database environments (PostgreSQL)
