Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, the Data Engineer will build and maintain efficient database views in Amazon Redshift and Databricks, supporting analytics and reporting for a 6-month period.
Key responsibilities
- Create, update, test, and document database views in Amazon Redshift and Databricks
- Use DELOS to define and maintain consistent database logic across platforms
- Troubleshoot query failures and validate data outputs in collaboration with analysts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, aggregations, and window functions
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse or Lakehouse platform, preferably Redshift or Databricks
- Comfort using Git or another version-control system in a collaborative development workflow
