Data Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and building custom data pipelines, the full-time remote Data Engineer will create and maintain infrastructure to support reporting, operations, and AI initiatives while ensuring data quality and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and own custom data pipelines from source systems into the data warehouse
- Develop and operate Airflow DAGs for workflows, ensuring monitoring and quality checks are in place
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into durable data products
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a closely related role
- Proficiency in production-quality Python and advanced SQL
- Experience designing and operating Airflow workflows for custom data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of dbt and dimensional modeling fundamentals
- Hands-on experience building custom integrations against third-party APIs and event streams
