Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare data initiative, the remote Data Engineer will expand, optimize, and monitor data pipeline architecture while collaborating with software engineers and data analysts on data integration and warehousing projects during a 6-month contract with possible extensions.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain data pipeline architecture to support analytics and data initiatives
- Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT processes for large, complex data sets integration
- Utilize Azure Data Factory and other tools to develop and maintain data integration solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development and data integration
- Proficiency with SQL, SQL Server, and Azure SQL databases
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure cloud services
- Familiarity with healthcare data sets is strongly preferred
