Data Engineer
Job Summary
Managing and optimizing data-related activities for FSA IAM systems, the full-time remote DBA / Data Modeler / Data Engineer will ensure data accuracy, security, and efficient sharing to support identity management, reporting, and fraud analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Provide detailed file layouts, source-to-target mappings, and data models for intersystem connections, loads, and extracts
- Design and enhance automated processes for internal data sharing and analytics support
- Support database configurations, performance tuning, backups, and capacity management to ensure efficient operation of IAM systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in database administration, data modeling, and data engineering
- Proficiency with relational databases, data modeling tools, and ETL processes
- Experience with secure handling of sensitive identity and PII data
- Knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning for databases
