Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a remote Client Experience Team, the contract Data Engineer will architect and implement scalable data pipelines, design end-to-end data solutions, and optimize data access across distributed systems, focusing on advanced data engineering and solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and design data solutions to support analytics and operational systems
- Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, datasets, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and optimize system performance through effective strategies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong emphasis on data governance and solution design
- Expertise in enterprise data modeling tools and dimensional modeling methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of cloud data platforms, particularly AWS and hybrid integrations with Azure Synapse
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and PySpark for building scalable data solutions
