Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing data team, the full-time remote Data Engineer will build and maintain ingestion pipelines and dbt models while collaborating with the BI/Analytics Engineering team and participating in on-call rotations.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines and Python services running on AWS
- Develop and maintain dbt models in the Snowflake warehouse, ensuring thorough testing and documentation
- Take operational responsibility by participating in on-call rotations and triaging pipeline failures
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a closely-related role
- Strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL skills
- Conceptual understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake
- Comfortable working in a cloud computing environment, ideally AWS
