Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing organization, the full-time Data Engineer will design and build scalable data infrastructure, integration pipelines, and storage systems for analytics and AI applications, while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex data challenges.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of data architectures across multiple systems, ensuring quality and reliability standards are met
- Mentor engineers on data integration practices and facilitate rapid delivery initiatives to transition prototypes to production
- Manage stakeholder relationships, effectively communicating data needs and influencing senior leaders in a complex enterprise environment
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Deep production experience with Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms, preferably AWS
- Proven expertise in large-scale data integration and enterprise data architecture
- Experience with AI coding tools and architecting data infrastructure for generative AI applications
- Strong background in leading data initiatives and mentoring engineers within complex data landscapes
