Data Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Data Engineer for a fully remote, full-time position responsible for building and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Dagster (or Airflow), dbt, and Snowflake, while collaborating with the existing team on critical data flows and production monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Opening and merging pull requests for Dagster jobs, dbt models, and documentation
- Building and debugging Python pipelines for REST/API syncs and Snowflake operations
- Collaborating with analytics and product teams on data modeling and quality strategies
Required qualifications
- Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehouse patterns
- Hands-on experience with Dagster (or Airflow) for orchestration
- Proficiency in building and maintaining dbt models and tests
- Experience writing Python for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 and IAM at a debugging level
