Data Engineer
Job Summary
Owning core data pipelines end to end, the full-time Data Engineer will build and operate reliable production-grade data infrastructure while working remotely to support AI initiatives and ensure data governance across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Build and operate the ELT pipeline for data ingestion, transformation, and warehousing using Snowflake and dbt
- Collaborate with AI engineering to provide trustworthy data for AI applications and tooling
- Maintain data governance, monitor data quality, and manage performance and cost of the data warehouse
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building and operating production data pipelines in a cloud environment
- Proficient in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in data modeling methodologies and tools
- Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse in a production setting
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow for managing scheduled data jobs
- Understanding of data privacy, governance, and quality frameworks
