Data Engineer
Job Summary
Building and operating data capabilities, the full-time remote Data Engineer will develop ingestion pipelines, transformations, and data models while leveraging Snowflake and dbt to ensure access to trusted and usable information for analytics and automation.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve batch and low-latency data ingestion pipelines from various enterprise systems and APIs
- Utilize AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle for code generation, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or analytics engineering
- Professional experience writing production-quality SQL and Python
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, or comparable cloud data warehouse technologies
- Understanding of data modeling, ELT/ETL patterns, and pipeline orchestration
